Master the basics of train tricking from zero
Left stick / WASD to move across train rooftops. Hold RT / Shift to sprint — the faster you go, the higher you jump and the flashier your tricks.
A / Space to jump. Press again mid-air for a Kickflip. Jumping from the edge of a train car gives extra height — a key combo starter.
Jump from a train toward rails or guardrails and hold LT / Ctrl on landing to enter Grind state. Steer left/right to keep balance, press B / ↓ to hop off.
Press X / ↑ + a direction mid-air for different Grab tricks. Each direction combination produces a unique grab with its own score value.
Tap LT + ↓ / Ctrl + S on landing to Manual (pop a wheelie and keep moving). This is THE core technique for extending combos.

Coming SoonHow to rack up huge scores and earn S rank
Each trick's base score × current combo multiplier. The longer your combo, the higher the multiplier (×2, ×3 … max ×10). Bailing or hitting an obstacle resets it to zero.
Core MechanicBased on your single best combo score:
C < 5,000 | B < 15,000 | A < 50,000 | S ≥ 50,000 | SS ≥ 100,000
Build the gauge by doing tricks. When full, press Y for a Special Trick (2,000 base + multiplier). Best used at max combo multiplier for maximum damage.
AdvancedStudy the map's rail loops and design a circuit that hits multiple grind rails and jump pads. Top players chain 10+ moves in a single route.
ExpertSpray Can & Film Roll locations for each stage
5 per stage. Usually hidden on high platforms, at rail dead-ends, or on ledges reachable only via consecutive Grinds. Collecting them unlocks character color variants and graffiti.
3 per stage, placed along specific routes. Some require a ×3 combo multiplier or higher to trigger collection. Full completion unlocks gallery concept art.
Tokyo Ruins — Spray Cans: top of car 1 (1), ruins 2F right (2), tunnel entrance above (3), car 3 connector (4), jump pad right before finish (5). Film Rolls: behind starting point (1), bridge center-right (2), in front of boss door (3).
Kyoto Corridor collectibles are spread across a complex 3D space. Run a pure collection route first without worrying about score, memorize the layout, then return for S rank.
Defeat each boss to unlock hidden content
A Guitar Hero-inspired music-themed boss fight. Yoshie attacks with her guitar in rhythm — you must perform tricks to the beat to dodge and counterattack.
Practical advice from high-score chasers
Each stage gives 10 seconds of free observation time. Use it to plan your Grind route and collectible locations. Don't rush in.
Always chain into Manual or Revert after landing. Standing still = combo over.
On your first playthrough, focus on finding Spray Cans & Film Rolls. Learn the terrain, then come back for S rank.
Ren for balanced routes, Miki for aerial grabs, Goro for long Grinds, Neko for high-speed short combos. Experiment!
Land on rails at as close to parallel as possible. Jumping on at 90° almost guarantees failure.
BGM rhythm subtly syncs with the combo timing window. Move to the beat — especially during boss fights, it makes a real difference.
Common questions from players
PC (Steam / Epic), PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2. Xbox/PC versions are day-one Game Pass. Cross-save supported (account link required).
Steam version has full English UI and subtitles. Also supports Japanese, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Korean, and more. Voice acting in English and Japanese.
Two common issues: ① Timing — you must link the next move within ~0.5s of landing. Use Manual as a bridge. ② Grind balance — tap left/right gently to correct tilt instead of holding a direction. Practice the Grind → Manual loop in Tokyo Ruins first.
Spray Cans (5/stage) — new character colors and graffiti patterns. Film Rolls (3/stage) — gallery concept art and behind-the-scenes content. Full completion also unlocks achievements/trophies.
Defeat Chapter 1's final boss Yoshie to unlock her as a playable character. Other characters unlock through story progression. Currently 6 confirmed characters; DLC may add more.
Build the yellow Special gauge by performing tricks. When full, press Y / △ to unleash it. Best used at ×6 combo multiplier or higher for 12,000+ burst damage.
Noticeable but not game-breaking. Key differences: Speed (sprint pace), Balance (Grind stability), Manual Duration. Rule of thumb: open maps → Goro, aerial stages → Miki, time challenges → Neko.
Main story: ~8-12 hours. Full collection + all S ranks: ~20-30 hours. 100% achievements/Platinum: ~35-40 hours.
